The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has awarded a contract to Atlas Research, in partnership with Jefferson Consulting Group, to create a five-year strategic human capital plan, Atlas announced on Wednesday.Â
“The Atlas team of human capital professionals brings extensive strategic human capital expertise and experience,†said Ryung Suh, Chair of Atlas Research. “Together, with Jefferson Consulting Group, we will advance FRA’s most valuable resource — its human capital. We’re excited to partner with them in this important work.â€
Atlas Research is collaborating with leaders throughout FRA and the broader Department of Transportation (DOT) to develop a strategic workforce plan. This plan will assess skills and competencies needed from future FRA employees, retention and recruitment, employee development, and other crucial areas.
FRA supports its dispersed workforce, sometimes in remote areas of the country, in enabling the safe, reliable and efficient movement of people and goods.
