Intelligent Waves has received a one year task order through the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions 3 Services (ITES-3S) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Brocade 3rd Party Maintenance Support to enhance Army Program Executive Office (PEO) Enterprise Information System (EIS), the company announced on Tuesday.
“By accelerating problem resolution and reducing maintenance costs, we look forward to helping the Army achieve their mission,” said chief growth officer, Erin Horrell of Intelligent Waves.
Brocade brand switches offer the Army enterprise resource planning programs unmatched speed and interoperability. Under the contract, Intelligent Waves will provide maintenance support for existing Brocade switches at various sites.
In addition, Intelligent Waves will act as a reseller for Brocade 3rd Party Maintenance Support Agreement for Project Manager, Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (PM AESIP), General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS), Product Director-Army Human Resources Command (PD-AHRS) and Global Combat Support Systems-Army (GCSS-Army).

In addition to the company’s efforts to enhance brocade systems, Intelligent Waves won a potential five-year, $48 million contract to help the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) manage warfighter communications through a satellite gateway in Jan. 2020.
Under the contract, Intelligent Waves will manage logistics services and deploy field service personnel under the Enhanced Mobile Satellite Services program, which is meant to address technical and operational satcom requirements for deployed U.S. troops and partner agencies.
The EMSS program uses an Iridium-built commercial satellite constellation and offers support for the Distributed Tactical Communication System built to facilitate beyond line-of-sight information exchange.
The single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has one base year and four option years.
